Antti Haapalahti from Oulu University of Applied Science and Ragnheidur Thorarinsdottur from University of Iceland participated in the successful NPA conference and lead partner meeting held in Kuopio in Finland in the end of September 2015.

All 19 NPA projects that have been approved in the first two NPA calls were presented at the meeting and NPA launched the Third Call for project proposals, which is open until 30th November 2015.

Antti and Ragnheidur presented the achievements so far in Smart-Fish and introduced the Smart-Fish video to the NPA officers and received very positive feedback.

Aproximately 100 participants gathered for the second annual conference of the Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme 2014-2020 (NPA). The purpose of the conference was to provide an update on recent developments in the NPA programme area as well as Arctic cooperation.

The event was organised as a back-to-back event with a Lead Partner seminar for approved NPA projects.
